I'm Lauren Allison, the Henderson County Adult Day Program and Caregiver Support Manager. I'm also a mom, wife, Disney adult, book lover, and a kinda-sorta runner just doing my best-usually with a coffee in hand.
I love being at MAP and knowing that not only can I improve the day of the participants we serve directly, but I can also give some peace and respite to those that love them outside of MAP.
I have learned that every week, day and moment is going to be different and that is OK. We meet people where they are in that exact moment and that is exactly what they need. I have been with Adult Day for 8 years and each day still teaches me something new.
