Elizabeth Williams
Executive Director

As Executive Director of MAP, Elizabeth leads the organization with a deep commitment to ensuring older adults and their caregivers have access to the support, resources, and services they need to age well in their communities. She guides strategic direction, fosters strong partnerships, and works to secure financial sustainability so MAP can adapt to the evolving needs of a growing aging population. Elizabeth brings a solutions-focused mindset to her leadership, striving to make systems more responsive, inclusive, and supportive of older adults.  She is dedicated to ensuring that those who care for our elders are themselves cared for and supported.

Elizabeth was drawn to this work by her belief that aging is a deeply human journey—one that deserves empathy, connection, and creativity. This conviction was shaped by witnessing her grandmother’s experience with dementia and seeing her mother become her grandmother's caregiver.

Having checked off every item on her “before I die” list—including learning to surf, skydiving, and traveling the world—Elizabeth now finds peace in quiet walks through the woods, floating in water, and simply watching the trees grow.

A favorite quote: “We’re all just walking each other home.”
